My Rights as a TWU Delegate



Conference 2007

Your TWU membership delivers you with the benefits of belonging to one of Australia's biggest unions and as a Delegate or Co-Delegate you have rights. Your employer must:

• Recognise the importance of your delegates role

• Allow your delegates to communicate with the workforce, other delegates and management.

• Allow your Delegates the freedom to move around the workplace

• Allow the opportunity for your delegates to have training and education

• Give your delegates information

• Provide your delegates with facilities and access to equipment such as telephone, photocopier, fax, noticeboard and other equipment.
