Late January saw a terrible incident on our roads made worse by the inability of bus company, Hillsbus, to follow correct safety procedures. A TWU member while driving a late afternoon shift was subject to a rock attack which shattered the front window. The stupidity of this assault was not met with the appropriate response by the company.

The TWU wants members to get value from their membership. From 1 February the TWU will be providing members with much more than just industrial support but an opportunity to save on a range of products through Union Shopper.

With the Road Safety Remuneration Bill set to go through Federal Parliament early this year, the TWU has been active in lobbying NSW MPs to sign a pledge to support the legislation.
