TWU members and delegates have worked hard to ensure another player in the express/courier industry is part of the TWU family and enjoys all the rights and conditions that go along with being a strong union yard.
Up until recently Hunter Express employees were governed by anti union management and targeted if in the union. Membership has now exceeded 80% and a strong delegate structure has been appointed, representing the needs of all members. As a result, management have gone from being aggressively anti union to meeting with delegates on a weekly basis to resolve any issues faced by the workforce.

It is because of the hard work of delegates and activists that these members can now avoid persecution by management and create a strong, healthy and safe work environment. The TWU will fight to ensure that all companies in the courier and express industries treat their employees fairly and compensate them for the hard work they do.
